- This standard specifies the principle, symbols, samples, test equipment, test procedures, test result evaluation and test report of the metal tube flattening test method. This standard applies to the determination of the flattening plastic deformation capacity of circular cross-section seamless and welded metal pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 400mm and a pipe wall thickness not exceeding 15% of the outer diameter.
