Scope
GB/T 17192 establishes minimum requirements for a computer graphics interface (CGI) in terms of conceptual models, functional capabilities and consistency. It specifies the design requirements for CGI encoding. GB/T17192 defines the CGI function set, which can meet the following needs of the computer graphics community: a) Provide an interface standard for implementers of computer graphics software packages; b) Provide an interface standard for computer graphics equipment manufacturers and suppliers Interface standard; c) Provide a query and response mechanism for the capabilities, characteristics and status of graphics devices; d) Provide a standard graphics escape mechanism for accessing non-standard graphics device capabilities; e) Allow future CGI function expansion. In addition to CGI functional capabilities, this standard defines device classes, base profiles, and partition profiles. The device categories included in CGI are output type (OUTPUT), input type (INPUT), and input/output type (OUTIN). Profiles allow defining a subset of CGI functions and features to better suit the needs of a particular identified user group. There is also room for registration of the zoning outline after the publication of GB/T17192. Computer Graphics Interface is a standard function and syntax description for controlling and data exchange between device-independent graphics software and CGI virtual devices. The CGI syntax expressed in GB/T17192 is a description independent of encoding and linking. Unless otherwise stated, any similarity of examples or functional descriptions to a particular coding technique or language is coincidental. The functions specified provide the representation of a wide range of two-dimensional images and control over the display of these images on a variety of graphics devices. These functions can be divided into several groups: controlling the device and the CGI session, specifying the data table format used, controlling the display of graphics, performing basic drawing actions, controlling the properties of basic drawing actions, collecting data from input devices, and providing support for non-standard devices. Ability to access. This standard provides an overview of GB/T 17192, which explains the relationship between this standard and the sub-standards and their relationship to other standards, describes the reference model of the graphics system and defines some basic outlines and partition outlines. GB/T17192.2~GB/T17192.6 use abstract notation to specify CGI functions for different functional areas. ISO/IEC9637 and ISO/IEC9638 define CGI's standard data stream encoding, process library binding, and single entry point process binding.
