- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for a series of non-pressurized bulk containers. This standard applies to the transport of this type of container by road, rail and water and the intermodal transport between these modes of transport. Due to the large difference in density and fluidity of various dry bulk cargoes, containers conforming to this standard may not be suitable for the transportation of all dry bulk cargoes. Therefore, unless otherwise specified, the standard stipulates the minimum requirements. Containers used to transport dangerous goods must also comply with international and domestic transport and regulations formulated by relevant competent authorities.
