Scope
The test method specified in Part 1 of this standard is applicable to the total amount of halogen acid gases other than hydrofluoric acid released during combustion of halogenated polymer-based mixtures and halogen-containing additive mixtures taken from electric or optical cable construction. Determination. In order to ensure the accuracy of the test, this test method is not applicable to samples whose amount of halogen acid released is less than 5mg/g. This method cannot be used to determine that a mixture or material is "halogen-free". For such mixtures or materials, and all mixtures or materials with equivalent content of halogen acid less than 5mg/g, it is recommended to adopt the method specified in GB/T 17650.2.
