GB/T 17545.1-1998 Information technology--Open systems interconnection--Connectionless protocol for the association control service element--Part 1: Protocol specification (English Version)
ACSE supports both connection-oriented and connectionless communication methods. ACSE service definition (see GB/T 16648) includes two communication methods. This standard provides protocol specifications for connectionless communication. The protocol specifications for connection-oriented communication methods have been included in GB/T 16687. This protocol specification stipulates: a) Procedures for transmitting information between application entities; b) Abstract syntax representing A-UNIT-DATA ACSE APDU. The A-UNIT-DATA procedure is defined as follows: a) Interaction between peer ACSE protocol machines by using connectionless representation services; b) Interaction between ACSE protocol machines and their service users. These procedures apply to instances of communication between systems wishing to communicate in a connectionless manner within an OSI environment. This International Standard also specifies conformance requirements for systems implementing such procedures. It does not include tests that could be used to demonstrate conformance.
