The purpose of this standard is to elaborate and explain various terms that are important to the basic concepts and practical applications in the design and evaluation of electromagnetic compatibility systems. In addition, attention is paid to distinguishing between standardized configurations and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests performed at the location where the device (equipment or system) is installed (field test). These terms and their definitions are given in Chapter 2, refer to Chapter l61 of IEV [1]. Chapter 3 describes the application of the term, and the explanation of the definition of the term is given in the appendix. Note: Numbers in square brackets refer to reference numbers in Appendix C.
