- Scope
- This standard specifies the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of hot-rolled or forged high-quality carbon structural steel. This standard applies to high-quality carbon structural steel bars with a diameter or thickness not greater than 250mm. After negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, high-quality carbon structural steel bars with a diameter or thickness greater than 250mm can also be provided. The grades and chemical compositions specified in this standard are also applicable to steel ingots, billets and their products.
