- Scope
- This standard specifies the coloring and lettering on the outer surface of gas cylinders used as identification marks for filled gas. This standard applies to portable reusable gas cylinders with a nominal working pressure of no more than 30MPa and a nominal volume of no more than 1000L. This standard does not apply to gas cylinders for fire extinguishing, fuel gas cylinders for vehicles and gas cylinders attached to machinery and equipment. Imported gas cylinders shall be coated (or re-coated, re-coated) with color markings according to the requirements of this standard.
