Scope

This standard specifies the definition and particle size composition of corundum and silicon carbide abrasives for coated abrasive tools. These abrasive grain sizes include: coarse abrasive grains P12-P220; fine powders P240-P2500. This standard applies to abrasives for the manufacture of coated abrasives and to abrasive particles recovered from coated abrasives for testing purposes.
