Scope

This standard specifies the lookout conditions for the cab of locomotives in two running directions on straight roads and curves with a radius of not less than 300m. This standard is applicable to electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, EMUs and new trains for international transportation. This standard does not apply to shunting locomotives.
