- In order to determine the RDS reception performance of sound broadcasting receivers, this standard specifies the measurement conditions, measurement performance and measurement methods used so that it is possible to compare the measurement results of different testers. This standard does not specify performance requirements (required limits for acceptable RDS characteristics). The purpose of this measurement method is to determine the overall performance of the receiver rather than to study each functional unit separately.
