Scope: This International Standard provides the definition of quality data messages (QALITY) for electronic data exchange between trade participants involved in the administrative, commercial and transport industries. Used to communicate the results of tests performed to meet a specific product or process. The content includes test data as well as measurement, statistical information and test methods used. This standard applies to both domestic and international trade. It is based on common business practice and is not limited to a particular type of business or industry. The content of the detail column of the quality data message involves goods items and service items. The values in the quality data message relate to the following: - product/service; - product tested in batches; - product processing type information; - quality data message may contain discrete or statistical values and product specifications value.
