- This standard specifies the welding, weld inspection, post-weld heat treatment and mechanical performance test of welded test plates for the pressure components of marine auxiliary boilers and pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as boilers and pressure vessels). . This standard applies to boilers whose design pressure is not greater than 2.5MPa and whose medium is water and saturated steam; pressure vessels of water or air whose design pressure is not greater than 6.4MPa and whose medium temperature is not higher than 150°C.
