Scope
This standard gives a brief overview of the basic standards for measuring the emission sound pressure levels of various machines and equipment working positions and other designated positions, and provides guidance on how to select the corresponding basic standards according to the types of machines and equipment. This guideline is applicable to the preparation of noise test procedures, and also to noise tests without noise test procedures, but only applicable to airborne sound. It is important to formulate and use various machine equipment noise test procedures that meet the requirements of these basic standards. These noise test procedures specify specific requirements for the product installation and operating conditions of the machine under test, as well as the working position and other designated positions specified in the standard. The obtained data can be used for the nominal and verification of emission sound pressure level stipulated in GB/T 14574. Note 1: Under any given location, given installation and operating conditions related to a specific machine, the emission sound pressure level measured according to any method of GB/T 17248.2-17248.5 is generally lower than that of the same machine in a typical workshop The sound pressure level measured directly, due to reverberation and other mechanical effects. See ISO/TR 11690-3 for the calculation method of the sound pressure level near a machine operating alone in a workshop. Generally, the difference between the two is 1 ~ 5dB, and the difference is even greater in individual cases.
