Scope

This standard specifies the required sanitary protection distance between the soda sulfide plant and the residential area. This standard applies to new soda sulfide plants located in plains and slightly hilly areas, as well as expansion and reconstruction projects of existing soda sulfide plants. The existing soda sulfide plant can be implemented as a reference. The health protection distance under complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report.
