This standard specifies the test method for evaluating the flame resistance of wheelchair seat (back) cushion materials to cigarettes and matches. This test only measures the flame resistance of the materials submitted for inspection to cigarettes and matches, but not the fire resistance of finished wheelchairs. This test is only an illustration but not a guarantee for the fire of the finished wheelchair. Note: These requirements are the minimum, and it is recommended that manufacturers try to use materials with higher flame retardancy.
