- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of centralized consoles in marine engine rooms. This standard is applicable to the design, production and acceptance of the centralized control console (hereinafter referred to as the centralized control console) for centralized control and monitoring of the main and auxiliary engine operating conditions in the centralized control room of the ship engine room.
