Scope

This standard specifies the required sanitary protection distance between asbestos product factories and residential areas. This standard applies to new asbestos product factories and their expansion and reconstruction projects located in plains and hilly areas. Existing asbestos product factories can refer to the implementation. The sanitary protection distance of asbestos product factories located in complex terrain conditions shall be jointly determined by the competent department of the construction project and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the air environment quality evaluation report and with reference to this standard. .
