Scope: This standard specifies the general tolerance grades and limit deviation values for linear and angular dimensions without tolerances. This standard applies to the dimensions of metal cutting and also to the dimensions of general stamping. The dimensions processed by non-metallic materials and other processes can be used by reference. This standard is only applicable to the following dimensions without tolerances: a) linear dimensions (such as outer dimensions, inner dimensions, step dimensions, diameter, radius, distance, rounding radius and chamfer height); b) angular dimensions, including Note the angular dimension of the angular value, such as a right angle (90°); except for the angles mentioned in GB/T 1184 or equilateral polygons; c) Linear and angular dimensions of machined assemblies. This standard does not apply to the following dimensions: a) linear and angular dimensions involved in other general tolerance standards; b) parameter dimensions in brackets; c) theoretically correct dimensions in rectangular boxes.
