Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of glass wool and its products for thermal insulation, and also provides the conversion of thermal resistance and thermal conductivity, see Appendix C (prompted appendix). This standard is applicable to glass wool, glass wool board, glass wool tape, glass wool blanket, glass wool felt and glass wool tube shell for thermal insulation.
