Scope

This standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (Nox) in the exhaust of mopeds. This standard applies to two- or three-wheeled mopeds equipped with spark ignition engines with a curb weight of less than 400kg, an engine displacement of no more than 50mL, and a maximum design speed of no more than 50km/h.
