Scope

This standard specifies four test methods for determining the Vicat softening temperature (VsT) of thermoplastics. As0 method - use a force of 10 N at a heating rate of s0'C/hB50 method - use a force of 50 N at a heating rate of so°C/hAaz0 method - use a force of 10 N at a heating rate of l20°C/h . The four methods specified in this standard are only applicable to the temperature at which thermoplastics begin to soften rapidly.
