Scope

This standard specifies the limit value of the noise level of the cabins of inland ships. This standard is applicable to inland waterway vessels such as cargo ships, tankers, container ships, passenger ships, push (tow) ships, tourist ships, ro-ro ships, high-speed ships and self-propelled engineering ships, and other ships shall be implemented by reference. This standard does not apply to ships for special purposes, such as military ships and fire boats.
