GB/T 9771.5-2000 The series of single-mode optical fibres for telecommunication Part 5:Characteristics of a non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode optical fibre
This standard specifies the geometric, optical, transmission characteristics, mechanical and environmental performance requirements of B4 type non-zero dispersion-shifted single-mode fiber in GB/T 15972.1. The zero dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is not around 1550nm, and has a non-zero small dispersion value in the wavelength region used to suppress the four-wave mixing (FWM) effect in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM). It is best used in the 1500-1600nm wavelength region. The single-mode fiber specified in this standard is suitable for communication networks and other communication equipment, especially for DWDM communication networks and other communication equipment.
