Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of electronic cash registers (hereinafter referred to as cash registers). This standard applies to the design, production, development, testing and acceptance of electronic cash registers. Cash registers are divided into ordinary electronic cash registers, online electronic cash registers and microcomputer cash registers according to the degree of complexity. If these cash registers are added with a tax control module, they are tax control cash registers.
