- This standard specifies the test method for the toxicity of wood preservatives to house termites (Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki) by vacuum-treated test pieces under laboratory conditions. This standard applies to the determination of the toxicity range of preservatives in treated wood after loss and aging. This standard can also be used for the determination of the toxicity of different preservatives to Taiwan termites. This standard is also applicable to the toxicity test of pressure-treated test pieces for wood preservatives.
