- This standard specifies the determination methods of solar ultraviolet transmittance, solar direct transmittance and solar total transmittance of automotive safety glass and various safety glass used for road motor vehicles. This standard is applicable to the determination of solar energy transmittance of safety glass for automobiles and other road motor vehicles.
