Scope

This standard specifies the definition, measurement datum, basic dimensions, material properties, technical requirements, inspection methods, marking and packaging of gauge blocks. This standard applies to rectangular parallelepiped blocks with a rectangular cross-section, a nominal length from 0.5 mm to 1000 mm K-level (calibration level), and accuracy levels of 0, 1, 2 and 3.
