Scope: This standard applies to gas analyzers for determining the composition of gas mixtures. It includes terms, definitions, manufacturer's requirements and tests common to all gas analyzers. Other standards in this series, such as IEC 61207-2, describe special types of analyzers that use high temperature ceramic sensors. This standard is formulated in accordance with the general rules of GB/T 6592 and GB/T 17614.1. It is suitable for analyzers for fixed installation in any location (indoor and outdoor), but also for analyzers in sample handling systems and on-site measurement technology. When the mechanical, electrical and electronic parts of a complete set of analyzers are provided by the same manufacturer, this standard applies to the complete set of analyzers. Also applies to separate sensors and separate electronic units supplied separately or by different manufacturers.
