Scope

From the perspective of information technology, this standard stipulates the evaluation content required for the division of security protection levels of packet filtering firewall products using "Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" according to the five security protection levels of GB 17859-1999. This standard applies to the evaluation of the security protection level of packet filtering firewalls, and can also be used as a reference for the research, development, testing and product procurement of packet filtering firewalls.
