Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, general provisions, special provisions and inspection methods of the exterior protrusions of the vehicle body in front of the rear panel of the cab of a commercial vehicle. This standard applies to category N vehicles. However, it is not applicable to exterior rearview mirrors and their connectors, antennas and luggage racks.
