Scope

This guiding technical document proposes the principle of cumulative sum diagrams, including guidance on drawing and interpreting diagrams. This guiding technical document is applicable to the quality control of the continuous production process when the quality index of the inspected product is the number of unqualified products, the number of unqualified products, or the average value of a certain quality characteristic.
