Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and testing methods for radiation protection and radiation safety of medical gamma beam teletherapy equipment and radiotherapy practice. This standard applies to the production of cobalt-60γ teletherapy equipment, the implementation of radiotherapy, radiation protection and safety management and inspection and testing.
