Scope

This standard specifies some test methods for identification card characteristics defined in GB/T 14916-2006. Each test method cross-references one or more basic standards, which can be GB/T 14916, or one or more supplementary standards that define the information storage technology used in identification card applications. This standard defines test methods common to one or more card technologies. Other parts of GB/T 17554 define the test methods for proprietary technology.
