Scope

This standard specifies the grades, test devices and test methods for the risk assessment of smoke-producing toxicity of materials. This standard applies to the classification of smoke toxicity hazards for materials that produce smoke stably, but not for the classification of smoke toxicity hazards for non-stable smoke production.
