Scope: This standard specifies the representation of surface structures in technical product documents, which include drawings, instructions, contracts, reports, etc. At the same time, the graphic symbols and labeling methods for surface structure labeling are given. This standard is applicable to the representation when the surface structure is required. The notation involves the following parameters: a) Profile parameters, the parameters related to the GB/T 3505 standard are: ——R profile (roughness parameter); ——W profile (waviness parameter); ——P profile (original contour parameters). b) Graphical parameters, the parameters related to GB/T 18618 standard are: - roughness graphics; - waviness graphics. c) Support rate curve parameters related to GB/T 18778.2 and GB/T 18778.3. This standard does not apply to the labeling method for surface defects (such as holes, scratches, etc.). If there are requirements for surface defects, refer to GB/T 15757.
