Scope

This part of GB/T 10001 specifies the common public information graphic symbols for signs (hereinafter referred to as graphic symbols). This part is applicable to public places and related facilities, and is specifically used in the design of location signs, guide signs, floor plan diagrams, information boards, block guide maps and other guide elements in the public information guide system. This section also applies to publications and other information carriers with graphic signs larger than 10mm x 10mm in size.
