Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements for packaged sterilized rubber gloves used in surgical operations to protect patients and users and avoid cross-infection. Suitable for single-use gloves that are donned once and then discarded. Not suitable for examination or procedure gloves. It includes gloves with a smooth surface and gloves with a textured surface. This standard specifies the performance and safety of rubber surgical gloves. However, the safety, correct use and sterilization process of surgical gloves and the subsequent processing and storage processes are not applicable to this standard.
