Scope

This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and contract contents of general industrial aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips. This part applies to aluminum and aluminum alloy rolled plates and strips for general industrial use, and does not apply to special purposes such as deep drawing, painting, anodizing, curtain walls, PS plate bases, and military aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips.
