Scope

This standard is one of a series of standards on sampling and testing of paints, varnishes and related products. This standard specifies the test method for the determination of the abrasion resistance of dry films of paints, varnishes or related products by using a rubber grinding wheel and rubbing strictly through the rotational movement of the rubber grinding wheel.
