Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of sulfate content in sodium hydroxide for chemical fiber. In this standard, method A is applicable to products with a sulfate content (calculated as NaSO) in sodium hydroxide of 0.001%-0.07%; method B is suitable for products with a sulfate content (calculated as NaSO) in sodium hydroxide equal to or greater than 0.01% product.
