Together with Part 1 of GB/T 20720, this part specifies the general interface content between manufacturing control functions and other enterprise functions. The interface considered is the interface between layer 3 and layer 4 of the layer model defined in GB/T 20720.1. Its purpose is to reduce the risks, costs and errors associated with implementing these interfaces. Because GB/T 20720 covers many fields, and there are different standards in these fields, the semantic description of this standard is positioned on the basis that other standards can be mapped to this standard. Ultimately, the standard defines a general set of interface content elements, and mechanisms for extending these elements during implementation. The scope of this part is limited by the definition of object model attributes in GB/T 20720.1. This part does not define the attribute describing the relationship between objects, which has been defined in GB/T 20720.1.
