Scope
1.1 GB/T 20801 "Pressure Piping Specifications for Industrial Piping" stipulates the basic requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, inspection and safety protection of industrial metal pressure piping. 1.2 This part specifies the basic requirements such as the scope of application of pressure piping and piping classification. 1.3 The industrial metal pressure pipelines referred to in this part (hereinafter referred to as "pressure pipelines") include process equipment, auxiliary equipment and pressure pipelines belonging to public works within the boundaries. 1.3.1 This part applies to the design and construction of "pressure piping" stipulated in the "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations". The "pressure pipeline" stipulated in the regulations refers to the gas, liquefied gas, steam medium with a maximum working pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa or the liquid medium with a maximum working temperature higher than or equal to the standard boiling point of flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive, And the pipe with nominal diameter greater than 25mm. 1.3.2 This part is also applicable to the design and construction of pressure pipelines with a nominal diameter of less than or equal to 25mm, a maximum working pressure of less than 0.1MPa or a vacuum, non-flammable, non-toxic and non-corrosive liquid. 1.4 This part does not apply to the following areas: a) pipelines with nominal pressure above PN420; b) pipelines of military equipment and nuclear facilities; c) pipelines of oil, natural gas, geothermal and other exploration and mining devices; d) offshore facilities and coal mines Pipelines; e) Pipelines dedicated to electrical and telecommunications; f) Pressure pipelines on mobile equipment such as railway locomotives, automobiles, ships, aerospace vehicles, etc.; g) Urban public utility pipelines; h) Long-distance (oil and gas) pipelines and oil and gas fields Gathering and transportation pipelines; i) Designated equipment such as internal pipelines of pumps, compressors and other equipment for conveying or processing fluids and external nozzles of equipment; j) Professional pipelines for heating and ventilation; k) Special pressure pipelines for hydropower stations, such as water diversion pipes, Aqueducts, etc.; l) power pipelines. 1.5 This part does not include the requirements for modification, inspection, inspection, test, maintenance and repair of in-service pressure pipelines.
