Scope: This standard specifies a method for marking the axis of the specimen relative to the texture of the product using the XYZ orthogonal coordinate system, applicable to both unnotched and notched (or pre-cracked) metal specimens. This method is only applicable to metal materials that can clearly identify consistent texture rules. The orientation of the sample should be determined before the sample is processed, and it should be marked and recorded according to the provisions of this standard.
