Scope

This standard specifies the bird strike test method for aircraft transparent parts. This standard is applicable to the bird strike test of various aircraft transparent parts and their supporting structures. Bird strike tests on aircraft wings, empennages, radomes, engines, and locomotive windshields can be referred to for implementation.
