This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the ion selective electrode method for the determination of water-soluble chloride content in iron ore. This section applies to the determination of water-soluble chloride content in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, pellets and sinter. Measuring range (mass fraction, calculated as chlorine): 0.005% to 0.1%. Note: Water-soluble chloride refers to part of the chlorine content in iron ore obtained by leaching, filtering, and extracting with aqueous solution under near-neutral conditions.
