Scope
This standard specifies the principle, instrument and equipment, laboratory conditions, materials, test operation, calculation and processing of results, etc. of the method for determining the heat of hydration of cement. This standard applies to medium-heat Portland cement, low-heat Portland cement, low-heat slag Portland cement, Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, pozzolan Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement. When using the solution heat method for other types of cement, the time for measuring and reading the temperature of this type of cement should be determined. In this standard, the heat of solution method is listed as the reference method, and the direct method is listed as the substitute method. If there is any dispute in the determination of cement hydration heat, the reference method shall prevail.
