- This standard specifies the general technical requirements for small power motors. This standard applies to asynchronous motors, synchronous motors, DC motors and AC commutator motors whose continuous rated power does not exceed 1.1 kW when converted to 1500 r/min. The special requirements of various types of motors and other requirements not specified in this standard shall be specified in the product standards of various types of motors.
