- This standard specifies the micro complement fixation test, esophageal probe cup virus detection test, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), virus neutralization test, liquid Phase blocking-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, viral infection-associated antigen (VIA) agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID) test technical requirements. The test techniques specified in this standard are applicable to the detection of FMD virus antigens or antibodies in various samples.
