- This standard specifies the isolation and identification technology of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus, hemagglutination (HA) and hemagglutination inhibition (HI) tests, agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID) test, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (indirect ELISA) technical requirements. The highly pathogenic avian influenza virus isolation and identification technology specified in this standard is applicable to the isolation and identification of pathogens of various avian highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses; AGID and indirect ELISA are applicable to the type-specific detection of type A avian influenza virus: HA-HI test is suitable for identification of hemagglutinin subtypes of avian influenza virus.
